In the home stretch...

Tomorrow will mark the start of the 36th week of this pregnancy.  We are so happy that we've made it this far with the boys.  All of our Dr's have agreed that if at any point in the next two weeks the boys fail any of their tests (non-stress tests, bio-physical profile ultrasounds) then we will be delivered.  At this point it will be a c-section.  We are hoping to make it to 37 weeks (New Years Day) and then set up a scheduled c-section.  Our pediatrician has recommended we try to make it to 37 weeks as the babies will be full-term, and 37 weeks is as long as our perinatologists and OB feel comfortable letting me remain pregnant.  If all goes according to our plans, we will have babies the first week of January.  We are so excited to meet our little guys.

Pregnancy Photos - Take 2 - 34w1d

Nate took more pregnancy pictures today.  I wanted a couple of photos of him with me.  He was able to set a timer and get some great shots.  He also wanted some by the tree.  I'm really happy with how they turned out.  Nate is such a wonderful photographer.  It's great that we got the photos we wanted in the comfort of our own home.

Pregnancy Photos

I took a number of photos of Emily in her advanced pregnancy state. I hope to get a few more in the next few days but here are our favorites from batch one.

Nursery

The nursery is just about done.  We have some artwork (photos Nate took) that we need to order and hang and a few pieces of furniture (bookcase and toy bins) to buy and install and then we'll be set!  The main color is sage green and the furniture is mostly a dark brown.  We've got cream as an accent.  I found really cute crib sheets that are cream with polka dots and other ones that are cream with woodland creatures.

I'm still amazed everytime I walk past the room and see the cribs there.  It has been such a long time in coming that it is still a bit surreal.

Ultra sound pictures

We've been lucky and had many, many ultrasounds done of the boys during this pregnancy.  At some of the appointments we get pictures.  I thought it might be fun to have a "watch us grow" type post using all of our ultrasound pics.
