Magnus was trying to figure out how to wink while we were at the dinner table today. I captured his attempt in the following pictures. Too cute!

Jubilee Farm
We visited our CSA farm for pumpkins this weekend. Nate and Auntie Dani were able to come along with us. It was a misty morning and cool but not raining. We arrived just as they opened and were on one of the first tractor rides out to the pumpkin patch.
The boys each picked a large pumpkin and then grudgingly posed for pictures. The rule for pumpkins was that they had to be able to carry it on their own (thus eliminating GIGANTIC pumpkins.)
Once back at the farm we paid for our pumpkins and the boys did the hay maze. It was a great family outing.

We rode the tractor back to the farm. The boys were impressed with how muddy they had gotten out in the pumpkin fields.

Utah Vacation
My dad, Grumpa, had recently retired and we had planned a big family trip to Utah to celebrate. Unfortunately, Nate was still having a lot back pain and difficulty walking due to his fall in September, so he didn't go with us. Auntie Dani flew with us to Utah. The boys both did great on the flight.
As soon as we had landed, collected our bags and rental car we drove to Leatherbys Ice Cream Parlor.
During our trip we went swimming at the hotel pool several times.
We also did a fun zoo trip. I think the boys' favorites were being pulled around in the wagon we rented (to help Magnus get around with his broken collar bone) and the carousel.
On our downtown SLC day we did family pictures taken by my good friend, Tracy Mangum. He captured some great moments with all of the family (minus Nate).
We also explored Temple Square.
We rode a "train" and walked through the planetarium.
I think the boys' favorite part of the trip was spending time with the family at Grumpa and Gramsie's home. They loved raking leaves in the yard, swinging on the swing, playing on the teeter-totter and of course, "helping" Gramsie cook. They also enjoyed carving pumpkins.
