Word Explosion

Words are flying out of the boys these days.  They are talking up a storm about everything and anything.  They seem to have new words daily.  These are their new words for this month.

2-Year-Old Photo Shoot

We didn't get photos taken of the boys until a month after their birthday.  But we finally got around to it.  Danielle came over to help with the baby wrangling.  Ragnar was first and was very excited to pose and sit and have his picture taken. 

We then tried to have Magnus sit with Ragnar to get pictures of both of them.  He wasn't having it.

 

He was sad and wouldn't sit for his picture (or stand) until Auntie gave him her cell phone to play with.  He then happily played with the phone while we took his picture.

 

We got crayons out and let them color on the backdrop to then get pictures of them sitting together.

Such handsome boys!

2-year-old checkup

The boys did really well at their 2-year-old checkup.  They got to be weighed and measured on the big kid scale and wall chart.  They both are doing great according to Dr Winch, and she is happy with their growth and development.  They both got an immunization and barely cried.  Here are their stats:

Ragnar:
Weight: 26 lbs. 25-50%
Height: 34 3/4" 50-75%

Magnus
Weight: 28 lbs. 50-75%
Height: 34" 25-50%

Aquarium Birthday Trip

To celebrate Ragnar's & Magnus' 2nd Birthday we went to the Seattle Aquarium as a family.  Auntie Dani met us there.  It was a sunny, crisp day (quite like the day they were born).  We had a great time exploring all of the sea life. 

After the aquarium we ate lunch at Anthony's.  They both enjoyed their lunch and enjoyed eating our seafood as well.

2nd Birthday

Happy Birthday Ragnar & Magnus!  Today they turned 2 years old.  They are such big kids now!  They loved their trip to the aquarium.  The big surprise for them was a bouncy house.  It was inflated and waiting for them after the woke from nap.

Magnus figured out how to bounce in it right away.  Ragnar didn't bounce in it but liked walking and spinning in the bouncy house.

We then put away the bouncy house, and they got down to the real business of opening all of their gifts. They had a blast and really enjoyed all of the wonderful toys, books and clothes they were given.

 

After dinner we sang to them, and they blew out the candles on their cakes.

 

 

Then it was time for them to dive in and enjoy their cake!
