One thing I LOVE about little ones is that everything is new to them. Something that I walk by half a dozen times a day is amazing and fascinating to them.

| Magnus "wow!" |
Yesterday afternoon we headed out to our front yard to explore. Now that they are both walking, I thought it would be fun to walk around the yard/driveway/sidewalk and enjoy the fresh air. Magnus was quite the walker and very independent for most of our time outside. He needed a bit of help walking down our steep driveway, but other than that he walked on his own.

Ragnar was very resistant to the idea of walking outside. He held my hand to walk and many times I ended up carrying him.

The big fascination of the day was rocks. They would find a rock, pick it up, try to eat it or lick it (if I wasn't fast enough to stop them) and then carry it around for a bit before dropping it for the next rock.

Magnus had to show me each rock he picked up right before he tried stuffing them in his mouth.

The other fascination was the "bloated toad" statue in our front flower (weed) bed. They stacked rocks on it, poked it and eventually knocked it over.

We had so much fun and I'm excited for more outdoor adventures.
That looks like so much fun! They are so big, it's crazy :)
