Easter Eggs

This was the first year we dyed Easter eggs with the boys.  Magnus was a bit under the weather, but still very excited to try.  I had seen an idea on Pinterest to dye the eggs with Kool-Aid.  I searched everywhere for different colors of Kool-Aid but only found a few colors.  I also got a pack of traditional egg dye as a backup.

The Kool-Aid made really nice smelling eggs and did a good job dyeing the eggs.  The boys loved watching the white eggs change colors.  We did end up using some traditional dye too to get more colors.

Ragnar pretended to eat each egg as it came out of the dye.  He especially loved the ones dyed by Kool-Aid as they smelled really nice.  Overall, it was a great experience that everyone enjoyed.
