Potty Training

Both Magnus and Ragnar have started showing a lot of the readiness signs that it is time to move on from diapers to using the toilet.  I decided to give it a whirl at the end of August.  The first day we did naked day and stayed at home all day. Ragnar figured out that he should go on the potty fairly quickly.  Magnus did not catch on at all. 
Day two I left Magnus naked and Ragnar got to wear big-boy undies.  He was SO proud.  He once again was accident free all day.  By the afternoon Magnus was so frustrated that I decided to back off and he got a diaper again.
By day three Magnus was very upset every time that Ragnar had success.  Bless Ragnar's sensitive, empathetic heart, but he didn't want his brother sad.  So, Ragnar started refusing to use the toilet and demanded diapers so Magnus wouldn't be sad.
I decided we would try to train again in a few months.  But I'm very encouraged that Ragnar was dry and able to do this all on his own.
