Halloween

The boys were really excited for Halloween this year. They picked out what costumes they wanted.  Magnus wanted to be Brip (his monster) and Ragnar wanted to be a robot.  I found a cute Robot that someone else had made from fleece and made a similar smock/vest for him to wear over the top of a one-piece pj.  I got a chenille pj for Magnus and sewed Brip's ears, nose and mouth to it.  Once the costumes were done neither boy were happy with their costume. 

On Halloween Magnus refused to wear his costume.  Ragnar offered to let him wear the robot and then Ragnar would wear the Brip costume.  We tried to talk Ragnar out of giving up his costume, but he insisted he wanted to wear the Brip costume.

I dressed them up and we went to Nate's work where they trick-or-treated a few floors of offices.  They got quite the haul.  We then went home. 

 

After dinner Auntie went with me and the boys trick-or-treated both sides of our neighborhood cul-de-sacs.  They did a great job and were really into it.  By the end they were tired of walking though.
