The fun thing about this zoo is it also has an aquarium. The boys really liked seeing the fish. They loved the underwater viewing areas of the walrus' and polar bears too.
There was a cool hands-on area where you could try out some of the skills that the zookeepers used in keeping the animals healthy. Ragnar and Magnus both enjoyed checking out the big lizard.
It was a hot day and with that comes temper tantrums, unfortunately. Magnus was upset that we wouldn't carry him through the zoo. He quickly became very frustrated and upset with us.
Luckily, he was a happier boy after we stopped for lunch and were able to cool off inside. We played a bit in the playground area before heading home.
