Unfortunately, on the day of our outing it was a cool/foggy/overcast morning. However, this didn't deter my boys. They were just as determined to play in the sand and water as ever.

Beach Outing
Kieran had called about a month ago and asked if we could get together with them at the end of the month for a play date. I was excited to see both him and Liam and for my boys to get to know my "big boys." We agreed to have a beach play date at one of our favorite places, Idylwood Beach on Lake Sammamish.
Unfortunately, on the day of our outing it was a cool/foggy/overcast morning. However, this didn't deter my boys. They were just as determined to play in the sand and water as ever.
But it did deter Kieran and Liam from enjoying the outing very much. They stayed for about an hour and then decided to skip our picnic lunch and to head home. We had arrived ahead of them and were able to play at the beach for a total of 2 hours before heading home. I can't believe how big my big boys are! Kieran will be starting 5th grad this year and Liam will be in 3rd grade.
